Frequently Asked Questions

The center will be open Monday-Friday from 7:30am-6:00pm.

There is a $150 non refundable registration fee. Spaces are secured by paying the registration fee on a first come first serve basis.

VPK will be offered for children that are 4 years old on or before Sept 1, 2024. Registration through the state is required at www.elcduval.org

Our child to teacher ratios and classroom group sizes are lower than the state requirements.

There will be an ongoing open-door policy for parents to stop in at any time, and we will continue to maintain a strong focus on parent involvement.

All curriculum is faith-based and centered around play. The curriculum will also be developmentally appropriate for the classroom.

Each child will spend the day in a balance of large group and small group experiences throughout our different learning centers. Morning and afternoon playground time, mealtimes and nap time are built into the daily schedule as well.

Families will have an app called Brightwheel where teachers will post daily pictures and updates of activities and curriculum. Teacher/parent messages can be sent back and forth throughout the day as well.

Two age appropriate playgrounds will be utilized for daily outdoor play.

We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics guidance for any symptoms of illness in children.

Morning snacks/breakfast and afternoon snacks will be provided. We ask guardians to pack their child(ren) a nut-free lunch.

The center license #C04DU1564 is through Department of Children and Families. Routine inspections through DCF will be conducted multiple times each year.

All teachers are CPR certified, background screened through DCF Level 2 background screening and vetted through church engagement with reference checks and employment history verification.

The single entrance to the facility has a keypad entrance with each family having their own pin code. No one will be permitted into the facility without a pin code.
