We want you to have complete peace of mind when sending your child to The Celebration Childcare Center. Please see below for our most frequently asked questions. When does The Celebration Childcare Center open?
The Celebration Childcare Center is opening in fall 2024 and is now accepting registrations for full-time enrollment for ages Birth-5 years old (pre-kindergarten).
The center will be open Monday-Friday from 7:30am-6:00pm.
There is a $150 non refundable registration fee. Spaces will be secured by paying the registration fee on a first come first serve basis.
VPK will be offered for children that are 4 years old on or before Sept 1, 2024. Registration through the state is required at www.elcduval.org
Each classroom will feature low teacher/child ratios and small group sizes.
There will be an ongoing open-door policy for parents to stop in at any time and we will continue to maintain a strong focus on parent involvement. 
All curricula will be faith-based and centered around play. The curriculum will also be developmentally appropriate, and child led with a focus on math, science, art, social emotional learning, language and literacy. 

Each child will spend the day in a balance of large group and small group experiences throughout different learning centers. Morning and afternoon playground time, mealtimes and nap time are built into the daily schedule as well.

Families will have an app called Brightwheel where teachers will post daily pictures and updates of activities and curriculum. Teacher/parent messages can be sent back and forth throughout the day as well.
Two age appropriate playgrounds will be utilized for daily outdoor play.
We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics guidance for any symptoms of illness in children.
Morning Snack/breakfast and Afternoon snack will be provided. Please pack nut-free lunch daily for your child. 
The center license is pending through Department of Children and Families. Routine inspections through DCF will be conducted multiple times each year. 
All teachers are are CPR certified, background screened through DCF Level 2 background screening and vetted through church engagement with reference checks and employment history verification.
The single entrance to the facility has a keypad entrance with each family having their own pin code. No one will be permitted into the facility without a pin code.
